Server Concept
All times on this page are CET.
We missed Lineage II. The real one.
Every few months a new Lineage II server opens, and the game feels a little less like Lineage. The newer chronicles turned into a maze of custom systems. Interlude servers bolt on pieces of other versions until the interface breaks. Rates jump, shops appear, and the world you loved becomes a race to the next donation.
So we built the one we wanted to play. Legacy 2 takes the best of three chronicles and makes them one game: the simplicity of Interlude, the world of High Five with its zones, monsters, classes and skills, and the clean graphics and modern interface of Classic. One client, built to work as a whole, not patched together.
Level 1 to 65It feels like coming home
The pace, the hunting and the party play of Interlude, with Dynamic x3 rates. Smooth, soft movement, a stable client and a stable server. No donate coins, no shortcuts and no benefits for sale: every level is earned.
Level 8 to 76A story of your own
Something you have never seen on a Lineage II server. Alongside the classic leveling runs a story of your own: the Legacy Journeys. 19 solo story chapters unlock as you level, each one taking you to a famous place of Aden with a guide and companions fighting at your side, and ending with its own boss and rewards. Discover the Journeys
After level 65A new era begins
Past level 65, Aden starts to change. The Legacy Activities open: four elemental Special Hunting Zones twice a day, four PvP events three times a day and a Sanctum dungeon for your party every weekday, next to the Grand Bosses, castle sieges and the Grand Olympiad. The game grows with you, one step at a time.
Familiar from the first minute. New where it matters. Come and see for yourself.

Classic auto-hunt. The official Classic auto-hunt with auto potions everywhere except the Olympiad, so your evenings go to the fun parts.
PvP events every day. Four PvP events on four custom battlefields, three times a day: Veilmar, the Aerial Cleft, the lake fortress and Rosevain.
Hybrid Server & Client
Hybrid server. Hybrid client. Legacy 2 is a Lineage 2 High Five server built by merging the best of Interlude, High Five and Classic, in the gameplay and in the client itself.
Interlude simplicity
The clean, easy-to-learn feel of Interlude. No clutter, just the game.
High Five zones, monsters & skills
The upgraded areas, mobs and skills of High Five. Our base.
Classic graphics & visuals
The high-quality textures, lighting and effects of the modern Classic client.
The Legacy 2 client
Because the client is new, you can't patch an old Interlude, High Five or Classic folder. The Legacy 2 launcher downloads the complete client, installs it and keeps it up to date.
Rates & Enchanting
Legacy 2 plays at Dynamic x3: fast up to level 65, where the activities open, then slower towards the top, so each stage of the game is worth playing. Characters start at level 1 and can reach level 85.

Normal monsters drop items at x3 and Adena at x1. Raid bosses roll their own drop list again: every world raid boss drops 3 times, Antharas, Valakas and Baium 3 times, Queen Ant, Core, Orfen, Zaken and Scarlet van Halisha twice. Their epic jewels and cloaks drop once. Premium gives no rate bonus.
Enchanting
One clear rule for every item: after the safe enchant, every scroll has a 66% base success rate. Weapons, armor and jewels are safe up to +3. A single full-body armor piece is safe up to +4.

Progression
Gear on Legacy 2 is earned, never sold. Players craft B, A and S-grade weapons, armor and jewels at the town Blacksmiths, always at 100% success, and every material has a known source in the World Database. The world grows in stages: Stage 1 opens at launch, and each next stage brings new content for the whole server.
New player guide: free gear up to C-grade
The free Journey stories reward Novice Equipment Exchange Tickets. Trade them in the Legacy Shop for a full set of your choice: weapon, armor and jewels (a necklace, two earrings and two rings). D-grade from level 20, C-grade from level 40, one of each per character.
6 novice equipment coupons in the Legacy Shop, each limited to one per character.
Next stage: Stage 2 Coming soon
Stage 2 will bring new content for the whole server. The full details are revealed closer to its release.
Next stage: Stage 3 Coming soon
Stage 3 will bring new content for the whole server. The full details are revealed closer to its release.
Subclasses
Every character can hold two subclasses next to its main class. No quests: level 75 on your current class is the only requirement. Add, change or replace a subclass at any Village Master with the Sub Class button.

3rd class
At level 76
Your own build per class. Skills, dyes, shortcuts, level and recipe book are kept per class. Inventory, Adena, quests and clan are shared.
Similar classes stay apart. A subclass can't be a class of the same group as your main class (for example a Paladin can't take Dark Avenger or Temple Knight). Elves and Dark Elves never take each other's classes, and Kamael classes stay with the Kamael.
Bounty Hunter is for Dwarves only. Spoil stays the Dwarf's role. Overlord and Warsmith can't be taken as subclasses.
Main class only: the Grand Olympiad, Hero status, Noblesse and the rankings.
Switching class removes your buffs and is not possible while mounted. Your Premium mount and ranking skills stay with you.
Journeys
Journeys are your solo story progression: a 19-story adventure across four Journeys, told through the Legacy Journal. You never walk it alone. In every story a companion, or a whole band of them, fights at your side and guides you forward.

Achievements & Renown
73 achievements in 10 categories follow your whole story in Aden, from your first steps to the epic bosses. They are built once and never reset: every one you complete is yours for good. Each achievement gives Achievement Points (AP) and character XP, and your AP raise your Renown Level, with a reward chest at every new level.
Achievements are completely optional. Follow them if you enjoy extra goals and rewards, or ignore them and simply play your way. Nothing in the game is locked behind them.

How progress counts
Hunting and raids. Kills count for party and command channel members in range. Raid minions don't count.
PvP. Only flagged or karma players count, the same player once per 24 hours, and never the same IP, clan or alliance.
Enchant. The weapon must be equipped, or the full armor set worn with its set enchant. S-grade includes S80.
Vote. Counts the Vote Pendants delivered to your whole account.
Renown Level 10 is announced to the whole server.

Field Boss chest
Everyone who really fought gets a personal chest at the kill: you must be inside the zone within reach of the boss, and have dealt at least 1% of its HP or be in the party or command channel of someone who did. Healers and buffers count. Leaving for town does not.

Only skill decides
Everyone looks the same. The same armor look by armor type, your team's name instead of yours, no title or crest, and a coloured circle under your feet.
Full buffs for everyone, for the whole event and after every respawn. Your own gear still counts.
No resurrection, support only on yourself. Heals and buffs work only on you, so a team with a healer is not stronger.
No way out. No escapes or teleports; logging out removes you from the event.
Kills stay inside. No PvP count, karma, item drop or XP loss.
Rewards
Rewards arrive by mail for active players who stay until the end: at least one kill or 3,000 damage on enemy players (Conquest: 60 seconds in a circle, Rosevain: any damage on King Petram). Every event has an MVP with +5 Legacy Coins. The other side and draws get 3 Legacy Coins. Reward boxes can't be traded.
Hover or tap a box to see what it holds. At the end, the Match Results board shows every player, best first, with the MVP on top.

Fair for level 65+. Minions have their boss's level, and players 65 and up fight every Grand Boss with no XP or drop level penalty.
Boss expeditions. The Aden Vanguard waits at Baium and the Balthus company at Antharas while the boss is alive.

World Raid Bosses
150 raid bosses across Aden respawn 12 to 36 hours after death, and every one of them drops 3 times. Lilith appears on Monday and Thursday at 19:00, Anakim on Tuesday and Friday at 19:00. Find raids around your level with the in-game World Database.

Giran and Aden only. The Olympiad Manager and the Monument of Heroes stand in Giran and Aden, and you register from those two towns.
Mammon Arena. A fifth stadium joins the classic ones: free stadiums are picked at random, so everyone fights there sooner or later.
Marks of Battle every match. 12 for a win, 7 for a loss. At the end of the cycle your points exchange at 20 Marks per point (at least 10 matches).

Every town Blacksmith has three Equipment Workshops, for B, A and S-grade weapons, armor and jewels. Buy the recipe once with Elemental Stones (or spoil it from monsters), bring the materials and craft at 100% success. The recipe is used up by the craft, like the materials.

Everyday comfort
Auto Play. Free for everyone, with no Premium and no time limit. The client's own Auto Play, Auto Skill and Auto Potion (CP / HP / MP) are on. Auto potions work everywhere a click works, except in the Olympiad. Auto hunt never attacks players and pauses during PvP. Dwarves sweep automatically after a spoil.
Class transfers. Change class from the game window at levels 20, 40 and 76. Skills learn themselves.
Travel. Teleports are free up to level 19. Global Teleport opens at level 20 after your first class transfer.
World Database. Search items, recipes, monsters and raids in game with any words or short forms, with map guidance to find them.
Drop List. Shift + click any monster to see its drops and spoils with their real chances, also for every raid boss.
Revenge. The Revenge window lists every player with karma; teleport onto a PK for 50,000 Adena.
Record Video. The in-game video recording is in the System menu.
Symbol Maker. Beric sells dyes and draws or removes symbols in one place, in Giran and Aden.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Legacy 2?
Legacy 2 (also written Legacy2 or L2 Legacy, and known as Legacy2 Europe) is an independent fan community server for Lineage II, High Five based, hybrid in both gameplay and client: we merged the best of Interlude, High Five and Classic, with the simplicity of Interlude, the zones, monsters and skills of High Five, and the graphics of Classic. It is free to play and built by players, for players.
Which Lineage 2 chronicle is Legacy 2?
Legacy 2 is a High Five server. Its world, zones, monsters and skills are based on High Five, it keeps the simple, easy-to-learn feel of Interlude, and it runs on the high-quality graphics of the Classic client.
Do I need an Interlude, High Five or Classic client?
No. Legacy 2 runs on its own client, so you can't patch an old Interlude, High Five or Classic folder. Download the Legacy 2 launcher: it downloads and installs the complete client and keeps it up to date.
When does Legacy 2 launch?
Legacy 2 is launching in Q1 2027. The exact Open Beta and Grand Opening dates are announced in the News and in the newsletter.
Is Legacy 2 free to play?
Yes. Creating an account, downloading the launcher and playing are free. Premium is an optional €9.99 monthly membership for players who want to support the community, and you can cancel anytime.
Is Legacy 2 pay-to-win?
No. There are no donate coins and no cash shop: nothing that affects the game is sold for real money. Every item, enchant and level is earned in game, the same way for every player.
What are Legacy Coins?
Legacy Coins are earned only by playing: Journeys, the weekend processions, PvP events, Sanctum dungeons, inviting friends and, soon, voting for the server. They can't be bought with money. You spend them in the in-game Legacy Shop on travel tools, scrolls and spirit items, and on Premium mounts and Kill Effects.
What are the XP rates on Legacy 2?
Legacy 2 plays at Dynamic x3: EXP and SP are x3 from level 1 to 64, x2 from 65 to 75 and x1.5 from 76 to 85. Drop and spoil are x3; Adena and quests stay at x1. There is no Vitality and Premium gives no rate bonus. Raid bosses go further: every world raid boss drops 3 times, and the Grand Bosses 2 to 3 times.
What does Premium include?
Every paid month gives you a Premium Pass that you send to any of your characters; double-click it in game to activate 30 days of Premium for that character. Members get the Gold-maned Lion as a free mount, 31 more mounts to unlock with Legacy Coins, Kill Effects on player kills, and Journey III and IV. Everything unlocked stays on the character. Journey III and Journey IV are for Premium members only. Premium never sells items, currency or stats.
How do vote rewards work?
Vote for Legacy 2 on Hopzone, Topzone and L2Network every 12 hours from your dashboard. Each verified vote gives 3 Legacy Coins, and voting on all three unlocks the Vote Reward Pendant. Withdraw the coins from the dashboard and they arrive by in-game mail; the pendant goes straight into the inventory of a logged-out character, so its 12 hours start at once. Vote rewards go live with the server.
What are Journeys?
Journeys are your solo story progression, and a companion always fights at your side to help you through them. The story chapters unlock as you level: Journey I "Fallen Frontier" (stories unlock at levels 8–26), Journey II "Shadows Rise" (stories unlock at levels 30–48), Journey III "Broken Crown" (stories unlock at levels 52–70), Journey IV "The Awakening" (stories unlock at levels 72–76). Journey I and II are free for everyone; Journey III and IV are for Premium members only.
How does gear progression work on Legacy 2?
Players craft B, A and S-grade weapons, armor and jewels at the town Blacksmiths at 100% success. Recipes are bought with Elemental Stones and used up by the craft, and every material has a source in the in-game World Database. New players get free gear up to C-grade from the free Journey stories, through D-grade and C-grade tickets exchanged in the Legacy Shop.
When are castle sieges?
Sieges for Giran Castle and Goddard Castle run every two weeks on Sunday, from 20:00 to 22:00 CET. Clan registration closes 24 hours before, on Saturday at 20:00. Clans need level 3 to register.
When is the Grand Olympiad?
Olympiad matches run every Friday and Saturday from 20:00 to 00:00 CET, registered from Giran or Aden. You need level 76+, Noblesse and your 3rd class on your main class. Every match gives Marks of Battle: 12 for a win, 7 for a loss. The cycle is monthly, and the Hero of each class is the player with the most points who played at least 10 matches and won at least once.
What are the Grand Boss respawn times?
Queen Ant: 5 days, Core: 3 days, Orfen: 3 days, Zaken: 5 days, Baium: 7 days, Antharas: 12 days, Valakas: 12 days after death. Frintezza is an instance for a Command Channel of 18 to 300 players, with a weekly reset on Wednesday at 06:30 CET. Antharas, Valakas and Baium drop 3 times, the other Grand Bosses twice, and every world raid boss drops 3 times.
Are there subclasses?
Yes. Every character can hold two subclasses. Level 75 on your current class is the only requirement, with no quest: add one at any Village Master. A subclass starts at level 40 and levels to 80. Bounty Hunter is a subclass for Dwarves only, and the Olympiad, Hero and Noblesse are for the main class.
What are the PvP events and when do they run?
Four PvP events run three times a day for level 65 and up: Deathmatch, Red vs Blue, Conquest and Rosevain Stronghold. Everyone gets the same look, full buffs and a hidden name, so only skill decides. Deathmatch opens at 11:00, 18:30 and 23:30 CET, Red vs Blue at 11:45, 19:15 and 00:15, Conquest at 12:30, 20:30 and 01:00, and Rosevain Stronghold at 13:15, 21:15 and 01:45. Winners get the event's reward box by mail and every MVP earns 5 Legacy Coins.
What are the Sanctum dungeons?
Monday to Thursday one Sanctum opens at 06:30 CET for 24 hours: Blue, Turquoise, Red and Gold. A party of 2 to 9 players, level 65 and up, enters its own instance and faces the Sanctum's guardian. Everyone inside gets 10 Legacy Coins and a one-day XP amulet, the guardian drops enchant scrolls up to S-grade, and the party shares 360 raid points. Each Sanctum can be entered once a week.
How many game windows can I run?
Up to 2 game clients per PC. There is no limit per IP address, so players behind one connection, like an internet cafe, can all play.
How do I start playing?
Create a free account on legacy2.eu and confirm your email. Then open your dashboard, create your game account and download the launcher when it becomes available.
Is there a Refer a Friend reward?
Yes. When a friend you invited reaches level 65, you both receive 50 Legacy Coins in your website wallet, and you can send them to any of your characters by in-game mail. There is no limit on invites. Referrals from the same device or network do not count.
Is Legacy 2 affiliated with NCSOFT?
No. Legacy 2 is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by NCSOFT. Lineage and Lineage II are registered trademarks of NCSOFT Corporation.
How do I contact support?
Sign in and use the Contact Support form; you receive the answer by email and in your dashboard. For legal or privacy requests, email legacy2eu@proton.me.
